Physicians Formula Haul and Review

Physicians Formula is one of my favorite makeup brands! They have an AMAZING selection of products and the packaging is GORGEOUS! The best part is that it’s pretty affordable! You can buy their products from any drugstore!

On their website, Physicians Formula says that their products are hypoallergenic, safe for sensitive skin and eyes, and created without any of the 150+ known harsh ingredients found in other personal care items. They are a cruelty-free company and don’t test their products on animals.

Super CC Color-Correction + Care All-Over Blur Primer Stick

I LOVE this primer stick! It has 3 color-correcting pigments: yellow, which corrects blue imperfections and warms skin tone; green, which tones down redness; and pink, which brightens and illuminates.  It gives your skin a smooth canvas for the rest of your makeup! You can use this product as a concealer, primer, foundation, or touch-up tool and it has SPF 30! I use it just as a primer but it’s so versatile so it’s definitely a product that’s worth looking into!

 

Super BB #InstaReady BB Cream

This BB cream is lightweight and applies so SMOOTHLY! It has a semi-matte finish and is thick so you can build up your desired coverage! Their #InstaReady line features InstaFilter Technology, a proprietary blend of mattifying and pore balancing spherical beads, color filter pigments and high-tech polymers that work together to instantly optimize light reflection, blur imperfections and visibly retexturize skin, while protecting against UVA / UVB damage with SPF 30, which helps make your skin look PERFECT!

 

Nude Wear Touch Of Glow Palette (Medium)

This is one of  my FAVORITE Physicians Formula products of all time! It’s an all-in-1 palette that can be used as an all over Illuminating Powder, as a Bronzer for a sunkissed nude glow, as a Blush to give cheeks a pop of nude color, or as a Highlighter to enhance your features. You can use the shades individually or combine them to make a unique shade! The colors are very pigmented, but they give a natural finish which lasts all day!

 

Super BB #InstaReady Contour Trio Stick (Blush)

This blush is SO easy to use! It’s VERY pigmented so a little goes a long way. It’s easy to apply and it blends evenly! It has highlight shades too so it’s great for a quick makeup look, because you can get it all in one swipe. There’s only one shade in this blush and it may not work for everyone so I’d suggest looking into it a bit more if you’re thinking about buying it.

 

Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin Work It! Full! Flared! Fit! Mascara

This mascara is NOT my favorite. In my opinion it’s okay but I end up layering this mascara with another to get my desired lash volume and length. It’s a very dry formula so it’s hard to do several coats of this mascara. If I try to do several coats, the wand gets caught in my eyelash and then ends ups smudging on my eyes. If you’re someone who doesn’t like dramatic lashes and just wants a quick one coat then you probably wouldn’t mind this mascara. 

 

Super BB #InstaReady Contour Trio Stick (Bronzer)

Just like the #InstaReady blush, this bronzer is easy to apply and blends smoothly and evenly. It’s perfect for a quick makeup look! It has 3 contouring shades: highlight – adds radiance; sculpt- adds warmth; and contour – adds definition. It gives your skin a nice natural warmth! There is also only shade in this product as well. 

 

Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Gel Cream Shadow

First off, the packaging on these eye shadows is GORGEOUS! These gel cream shadows are so SHIMMERY! So if you’re not a fan of that, you probably won’t like that but I LOVE that! You can’t apply them with makeup brushes, it just doesn’t work well. Because of the texture of the shadow, it’s better to use your finger to apply it. They blend really well and last a pretty long time without creasing! You can use these by themselves all over your lid or layer them on top of other eyeshadows. Physicians Formula says these can be used as a liner too. I’ve never tried it but since it’s already difficult to use a makeup brush to apply it all over my lids, I don’t think it’d be too easy to line with it. 

 

Super BB #InstaReady Filter Trio Powder

This powder is AMAZING! It has 3 skin-perfecting filter powders that you can use individually or combine together: Nude Filter –  sheer, translucent finishing powder captures and diffuses light delivering a soft nude glow; Healthy Glow –  blends warm and cool pigments that soften and diffuse light, instantly brightening complexion; and Sunset – universally flattering powder, blurs imperfections and enhances overall complexion with a subtle warmth. I sometimes use Sunset as a bronzer because it just gives my face a nice warm glow. I also sweep my brush around in the compact and use that as a finishing powder.
