How To Be Single On Valentine’s Day

“All the single ladies, All the single ladies, All the singles ladies, Now put your hands up!”

If you’re single during Valentine’s Day, you might hate Valentine’s Day because it’s just another reminder of the fact that you are single. BUT who says you can’t be your own Valentine this year? I have some ideas for you to have the BEST Valentine’s Day ever even without a significant other!

(This post is the third and final of my Valentine’s Day series. So if you haven’t already, check out my Valentine’s Day LookBook for outfit inspo and 10 Date Ideas for Valentine’s Day!)Β

Order In (or Cook) Your Favorite Dinner

Start your Valentine’s Day with your favorite dinner, whether you order it from your favorite restaurant or make it at home yourself!

Pick Up Dessert or Make It Yourself

If you’re picking up dinner from a restaurant grab a dessert while you’re at it! Or go to the grocery store and pick up a pint of your favorite ice cream! If you’re really feeling it, you could also make your own dessert at home!

Have A Spa Night

Pamper yourself at home with face masks, manis, and pedis! If you want to make your own face masks, I have two posts up already with 5 recipes each, this one is specific for Winter Skin and this is the other!

Watch Rom-Coms

End your Valentine’s Day by watching a bunch of Rom-Coms. Since it is Valentine’s Day, why not watch Valentine’s Day!

Letters To Juliet is one of my FAVORITE movies so it’s also one of my recommendations! I also love any Nicholas Sparks’ movie as well as Hallmark movies!

If you just want a good laugh,Β How To Be Single is the perfect choice for you!

Treat Yourself

Buy that new makeup palette you’ve been eyeing! Or that new dress! Whatever it is that you want, why not treat yourself to it!

Galentine’s Day

Gather all your single girlfriends and have a Galentine’s Day Party! Decorate your house with Valentine’s Day decorations and bake some Valentine’s Day themed treats for yourself and your friends to enjoy!

Prepare some pizza toppings and let your friends make their own personal pizzas, even better if they’re in the shape of a heart! It’s fun and everyone can customize it the way that they want!

Grab some popcorn and watch Rom-Coms to your heart’s content! There’s nothing better than laughing the night away with your girls!

And above all, ladies if you are single, take your time to find someone who is worth your time, NEVER settle for anything less than you deserve!

What your Valentine’s Day plans? Let me know below!

Thanks for stopping by!

Love this post! I’m not a big fan of Valentine’s day even though I’m in a relationship I think it is far too commercialised and just a money making scheme now! These are great ideas, I remember one year when I was single everyone else in my house was out on Valentine’s dates so I ordered myself a curry and watched what I wanted to on the TV it was bliss! Now I’m engaged we don’t usually do presents for Valentine’s just go out for a nice meal or something instead so this year it was Bella Italia and a cinema date!

I am never bothered if I don’t have a date for Valentine’s Day – it’s about spending the day or just simply sharing some love to the people you love, whether that’s a boyfriend/girlfriend, wife/husband, partner, best friend, parent or sibling! Or even yourself! Love should be shared with all! The only annoying thing is this year it’s the first day of Lent as well and I’ve decided to give up chocolate ha ha!

Love this post! Nice to read an alternative to the standard Valentine’s posts! I’m not single this Valentine’s Day but have been before and it’s always a bit crap when you see everyone posting about the amazing gifts they’ve had!

I’ve been single every Valentines that I’ve been alive πŸ˜€ It’s like every time I start going out with a guy it’s after Valentine’s Day. It’s annoying, but I don’t mind it too much! I’m thinking of buying myself some Valentine’s gifts this year (which is just an excuse for me to go shopping!).

Almost a month late, but as a fellow Single Girl I find that Valentine’s day is actually more fun when single! (I even dedicated a while blog post about how single I am haha) All the fancy candy will be 70% off if you just wait until the day after. Love your ideas!
