5 Shows To Watch On Netflix: Comedies

Happy Wednesday!

This is the second post in my 5 Shows To Watch On Netflix series! This post is focused on comedies! All of these shows are perfect for binge-watching but are also perfect to watch when you just need a good laugh!

If you want to check out the shows from the first post in this series, here it is!

Fuller House

fullerhouse

D.J., a widow and a mother to three sons, finds herself back in her childhood home alongside her sister Stephanie, an aspiring musician, and her lifelong friend Kimmy Gibbler, who is also a single mother. All under one roof, the women experience moments big and small together, including budding romances, holidays, parenting, and life’s surprises.

If you’ve ever watched Full House but haven’t watched this reboot, you’re missing out! I watched Full House growing up so I was excited when I heard news of the revival! Fuller House is hilarious, full of heart, and it brings in flashbacks and parallels from Full House which gives the show so much nostalgia!

Baby Daddy

TAHJ MOWRY, CHELSEA KANE, JEAN-LUC BILODEAU, KAYLEIGH AND SURA HARRIS, DEREK THELER, MELISSA PETERMAN

A 20-something bachelor bartender becomes an unlikely parent when an ex-girlfriend leaves a baby girl on his doorstep.

The dynamic of the cast is one of the biggest reasons I think that everyone should watch Baby Daddy! The cast has such great chemistry with one another and it makes the show fun to watch but it also makes it feel real and relatable in regards to all the different relationships in the show.  And if you love babies, there’s an adorable one in this show! (Seriously so cute!)

New Girl

newgirl

After a bad break-up, Jess, an offbeat young woman, moves into an apartment loft with three single men. Although they find her behavior very unusual, the men support her – most of the time.

Some people call New Girl the “modern version of Friends.” Each character is unique in their own way which makes finding a character to relate to so easy. It’s just an overall feel good show that will make you laugh!

Young & Hungry

youngandhungry

A well-off young tech entrepreneur hires a feisty young food blogger to be his personal chef.

This show is perfect for Millennials because Gabi, who is the main character, is just like all of us. She’s trying to figure out her life (in such a comedic way) all while trying to pursue her dreams. Her friendship with her roommate Sophia is literally goals! The show is just so relatable and the whole cast and their chemistry is what makes it that way!

Friends

friends

Friends follows the merry misadventures of six 20-something pals as they navigate the pitfalls of work, life, and love in 1990s Manhattan.

First off, the theme song is so catchy and you will sing and clap to it EVERY TIME. The show is just so funny! There are so many things that you can take from the show that you can relate to and the friendships between the characters is one of the biggest ones. They’re always there for each other and it shows what real friendship is all about!

If you’ve seen any of these shows, what do you think of them? If you haven’t seen any of them, which one or ones are you putting on your favorite list to watch next? Let me know below!

Thanks for stopping by!

xoxo, jenny

Friends is my all-time favorite show; I own in on DVD, search certain scenes on YouTube, and even know the names of some episodes. It is such a one-of-a-kind show and there seriously hasn’t been a show more funny to me.

    Great list! x

Baby Daddy and Friends are great shows! Another comedy show I’d add to your list would be Grace and Frankie! If you haven’t watched it then you should!

These are some pretty good suggestions! I love watching “Fuller House”, and when a new season is on, I truly spend the whole day watching the season! I’ve heard “Baby Daddy” was a good one to watch, and eventually I will watch “Friends”, just gotta find the energy to watch all those seasons. Thanks for the suggestions!

It’s been a while since I last watched a comedy series! I am mostly a mystery/crime/fantasy/supernatural kind of fan! New girl looks promising though, I’ve got a feeling it might be very entertaining. What other kinds of series do you watch?

I’m currently watching Once Upon A Time on Netflix and I’m OBSESSED! I’ve watched many of the shows on Netflix while they were airing on TV which is why I started this series on my blog so people could hear someone else’s thoughts on a show! ☺️

I can’t believe I’ve never heard on Young & Hungry! I’ll definitely be giving this a watch tomorrow. Also, so incredibly happy that Friends is on Nexflix. I’m sure I’ll be binge watching that show for the rest of my life.

I started watching Fuller House then for some reason I stopped. I love New Girl! But I do need to catch up on them. The others I haven’t seen. Except FRIENDS. I don’t know how many times I’ve rewatched that series and I NEVER get tired of it lol! The Mindy Project is also a fav but I think that’s just on Hulu?

I’m definitely curious about the other titles you listed that I haven’t seen!

I absolutely loved New Girl. Super bummed that this current season was its last, but so happy that the show got a proper good bye. Some of my favorite characters on a show, maybe ever. So brilliantly funny. Also, love Young and Hungry. Can’t wait to new episodes!
