Today’s post is the third one in my 5 Shows To Watch On Netflix series! In this one I’ve rounded up 5 shows in the “Super Natural” genre! If you haven’t read the other posts in this series, then check out the Comedies post and the Female Lead post for even more Netflix suggestions!
Supergirl follows the adventures of Superman’s cousin, Kara Zor-El, in her own superhero career.
With all the superhero shows on TV right now, it’s so refreshing to see one with a female superhero! The cast of the show is so diverse which makes it so relatable! The show also deals with issues that matter today which gives the show a lot of depth!
After being struck by lightning, Barry Allen wakes up from his coma to discover he’s been given the power of super speed, becoming The Flash, fighting crime in Central City.
The cast has such great chemistry with each other which gives the show such a genuine and real feeling. The cast dynamic makes the show so fun to watch! There are also so many moments in the show that are relatable and I really love that about this show!
Spoiled billionaire playboy Oliver Queen is missing and presumed dead when his yacht is lost at sea. He returns five years later a changed man, determined to clean up the city as a hooded vigilante armed with a bow.
Arrow is full of mystery and has a really strong plot that makes it really interesting to watch! Each character brings their own personality to the show which makes it fun to watch!
The Vampire Diaries
A young teen struggles to make a decision between two vampire brothers and their supernatural lives. Soon after she discovers the truth her whole world turns upside down.
This show is so intense and there’s always something happening that really draws your attention to the show! It’s full of twists, turns, and surprises which keeps you on the edge of your seat and I really love that about this show!
A family of power-hungry thousand year old vampires look to take back the city that they built and dominate all those that have done them wrong.
This show is a spin-off show of The Vampire Diaries and is just as intense and mysterious as TVD! There’s family dysfunction in the show that causes a lot of drama which makes the show so interesting to watch but they come together when it really matters!
If you’ve seen any of these shows, what do you think of them? If you haven’t seen any of them, which one or ones are you putting on your favorite list to watch next? Let me know below!
