Theme Park Style Guide

Theme Park Style Guide

Happy Wednesday!

I recently just got back from a trip to Florida! I went to Universal Studios and Islands Of Adventure while I was there so that gave me the idea to create this Style Guide to help make it easier to choose what to pack and wear to your Theme Park adventures this Summer!

Theme Park Style Guide

On my first day at Universal Studios, I wore the cutest little white romper that has a cold shoulder detail lined with little rainbow pom-poms! It really was hot in Florida so not only did this outfit keep me cool because of how light and airy the material is but it also looked really cute!

On my first day at Islands Of Adventure, I wore a blue floral romper over a white t-shirt. It’s super comfy and lightweight! I paired it with a tassel bracelet and floral stud earrings!

On my second day at Universal Studios, I wore this colorful outfit! Theme parks are the perfect place to have some fun when it comes to your outfit! I paired this yellow cold-shoulder top with these orange shorts! I prefer shorts made with a softer material rather than denim because they’re more breathable and keep you cool! I paired this outfit with my favorite tassel earrings and a bracelet that I got from Disney!

On my second day at Islands Of Adventure, I wore an outfit that was super similar to the one I wore on the first day at Islands Of Adventure. This outfit was perfect for this day because it ended up raining all day and I also went on the water rides. Since the outfit is so lightweight even through the rain and water from the rides, the outfit didn’t retain the water so the outfit didn’t feel heavy like denim does!

Just to round-up this blog post, I thought I would share some style and outfit tips for your next Theme Park adventure!

  • Opt for loose and airy pieces to help keep you cool and comfortable!
  • If you’re going to a Theme Park several days in a row like I did, I recommend wearing the same shoes each day because your feet will tan and if you wear different shoes each day you’ll have a really weird tan at the end!
  • If you’re someone who loves accessorizing your outfits no matter the occasion (like me), try to stick with lighter jewelry if you’re planning on riding any big roller coasters.
  • Bring a backpack (I prefer the drawstring kind because they are much lighter) with sunscreen, plastic rain ponchos and/or an umbrella in case it rains, water, and a fan to help beat the heat!

I hope that this Style Guide helps make it easier to figure out what to wear on your next Theme Park Adventure! What are your style and outfits tips for Theme Parks? Let me know below!

Thanks for stopping by!

xoxo, jenny

I love the white outfit on day one! I usually wear comfortable trousers that are lightweight and loose when I go to theme parks, but I definitely agree about wearing nice bright colours for a day out at a theme park.

I miss living in Orlando! Being caught in that world you’re definitely more open to wearing bright colors since it’s the perfect place to wear it all! I almost miss the heat and humidity, I recently just moved to TX and while it’s been like 104* here the last two weeks it lacks humidity so it doesn’t feel as hot to me lol, crazy. I know.

Love this! I’m awful when it comes to dressing for theme parks, I always end up wearing khakis and a t-shirt haha. Which is annoying bc when I look back at photos I wished I had dressed nicer. But you really nailed looking cute each day! Xx.
