One Year Of Sparkle & Style

Hello Lovelies!

Today’s post is a special one because it’s officially been ONE YEAR of Sparkle & Style! I just wanted to take this post to reflect on the past year and thank everyone who has been following me along this journey whether you’ve been around since the beginning or as of recently! 

 

Why I Started Sparkle & Style?

Sparkle & Style was actually started as a project for a social media marketing class I took during my last year in college, but it was something that I had been thinking of doing for a long time! I have always had a passion for all things fashion and beauty related and have always been very creative so Sparkle & Style has helped create this platform that has allowed me to be creative and share this passion with others!

 

Why Sparkle & Style? 

As for why I chose Sparkle & Style as the name of my blog, the reason is because the name itself encompasses everything I want my audience to get from it. What I mean by that is that Sparkle & Style is mainly a fashion and beauty blog, so “Sparkle” refers to beauty and “Style” refers to fashion. But “Sparkle” also refers to being yourself and always staying true to that and “Style” also refers to finding clothes and fashion that you feel comfortable and confident in! I want Sparkle & Style to help you find your “sparkle and style.” 

 

Goals for Sparkle & Style

• Go Self-Hosted: This is the next logical step in growing my blog! I’d love to have my own domain, theme, and all the other features that you get when you go self-hosted! 
• Get Accepted Into Like To Know It: Like To Know It is a shopping service that was created by RewardStyle that allows you to easily purchase something that you see in a post. It would make it very easy for you to see exactly where I got anything I’m wearing in a specific post!
• Monetize It:  I’ve absolutely loved getting to be creative and create content not just for my blog but for my social medias as well! My biggest dream for Sparkle & Style is being able to turn it into my full-time career because I just love it that much! 
• Travel: Travelling is something I would just love to do but it would also give me the opportunities to create even more fun content for my blog! 
• Collab With Brands I Love: I love discovering new products but it would be incredible to work with a brand that I’ve always used and know I love! 
• Continue Growing: My biggest hope is that my blog continues to grow and that Sparkle & Style helps as many people as possible find their sparkle and style!

 

When I started Sparkle & Style I never imagined I’d be where I am today so to everyone who reads and follows my blog, I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support!
